Our strategic alliances with world majors in music and movies, such as Sony BMG, Universal Music Group, HMV – Sa Re Gama, Virgin – EMI, Music Bank Records UK, Destra Entertainment Australia, The Orchard Enterprises Inc, Excel Home Videos, Music Today etc. have put us in the forefront of marketing and distributing original music and movies on both physical and digital formats in the island. Such alliances have also triggered the release of Sri Lankan artiste’s music on international labels thereby helping the local music industry immensely.

Maharaja Entertainment is rapidly emerging as a progressive music company as it embarks on a range of activities such as restructuring, joint ventures, revivals and revamping. Some examples include tie ups with all the Sri Lankan mobile phone operators for supply of digital music, launching of M Home Videos which would increase our focus on the home video and theatrical markets, expansion of our own franchisee retail chain “Vibrations”, revamping of our website so as to include a vast product range and particularly song/video download capability, supplying Sri Lankan music to overseas digital stores, entering the Maldivian market for exploitation of music on both physical and digital formats, event management.
